Which multiplication facts do you know? Do you know all of your times tables? When you know the answers to these questions, you can focus on learning those multiplication facts you don't know and practise what you've learned using the following exercises. Everything in 'Assess yourself' is free.

Select the multiplication questions you'd like to be asked:

 
Opt for 'You choose' if you want to select which and how many multiplication questions you'll be asked from 1 x 1 to 12 x 12. Your results are displayed as soon as you answer the last question.

Up for a challenge?' Click on '1 x 1 to 10 x 10' if you want to answer all 100 questions from 1 x 1 to 10 x 10 in one go. Your results are displayed as soon as you answer the last question.

Ready for the ultimate challenge? Select '1 x 1 to 12 x 12' if you want to answer all 144 questions from 1 x 1 to 12 x 12 in one go. Your results are displayed as soon as you answer the 144th question.

Once you've pressed 'Start' and answered the first question, display the next question by clicking on 'Next question', or simply press 'Enter' on your keyboard.'

Questions are asked in a different random order each time to ensure you have learned each multiplication fact individually.

You can decide to be timed or take your time. If you decide to go against the clock, your time will appear on your results page.

For some questions, if you're not sure of an answer, you can ask for a hint. The hints use illustrations from the 3XME guide. This helps you to learn and remember the right answer.

When your results are displayed, right answers are highlighted in green, wrong answers in red, and unanswered questions in grey. Sorry, results can't be saved, but they can be printed or screen saved.

Press 'Repeat Wrong Answers' and you'll be asked those questions you got wrong, and those you didn't answer, in a different random order. Keep going until you get them all right.
